California Assembly Majority leader Karen Bass invites foster care parents and advocates to discuss the future of California's Child Welfare System. Open to all San Diegans with a perspective on the foster care system; foster care advocates, relative caregivers, current and former foster youth, and parents are strongly encouraged to attend. Majority Leader Bass represents the 47th Assembly District, Los Angeles and chairs the Select Committee on Foster Care of the California Assembly.
